TOURNAMENT PLAY

PLEASE TRY TO ARRIVE IN THE LEAGUE ROOM 10 MINUTES PRIOR TO TOURNAMENT START TIME.
THE LOSER OF THE MATCH reports to the tourny host.
If I was playing grace and I lost, I would report carlo/grace. Loser’s name/Winner's name format.
It is reported to the tourny host in public chat in the room. It is not reported in the "report a loss box" on league page. This box is used when challenging a league member during non tournament play. (see LADDER MATCHES) All tournament play standings are reported to the ladder by the tournament host upon closing out the tournament.
If you are the winner of the match, it is up to you to make sure it’s properly reported to the host, before host advances to the next round. Every player needs to keep track of his/her final score in tournament play in case there is a dispute. If at any time you can’t see your opponent on the listings board, ask in chat where they are. In the case of a tie game, you will break the tie with a bowl off the very next game. Please be sure to inform the host of a tie, the rest of the tourny players will get a practice game, until the winner is decided.
Any protests must be made before the next round begins. We cannot change a match win/loss once the next round starts. In tournament play a “Bye” is a free win. You have no opponent and you will be advanced to the next round.

ENTERING TOURNAMENTS

Refreshing the homepage often will allow you to see tournaments that may be added during the day. Daily tournaments are listed under Calendar. They list the tournament start time, the host’s name, a jump #, the play format, the location/game and how many ladderbux it takes to enter a tourney. To the right of the tourney calendar are “backdoor” links, which take you directly to the tournament rooms we play in. To enter a tournament, click on the tour you want to join in the calender. This will bring you to the tournament main page, there you will see more information about what kind of tourny it is, and also a tournament message posted by the director for any special prizes or twists that may be set for that tour. Just click on the register link, enter your screen name and password. Check the box that you have read the rules, and register. You will get confirmation that you are registered. The easiest way to enter a tourney is by using the jump number. Scroll down towards the bottom right of the homepage and you will see a section titled ENTER TOURNEYS. Fill in the boxes, use the jump number of the tournament you want to join, your ladder name and password. Click register, and your registration confirmation will appear. However, you may miss the information available to you on the main tournament page this way.

RULES REGARDING POGO BOOTS

If you are booted from the room WHILE a match is being played, you will be given the average score of 150.
If your game is frozen up and you are able to return to the same game, you may add 15 pins for each frame lost.
If you are booted from the room BEFORE a round starts, you will be able to re-bowl the next game.
Please be advised that your Tournament Director always has the final decision.

LADDER MATCHES

The REPORT LOSS section on the left is used to report a ladder match. These challenges can be played at anytime, except during tournament play. You can challenge another Ballbuster’s member to a match in any of the games we play. Loser of match ONLY uses this section to report his/her loss. Have fun with these, this allows you to play another league member at any time you wish. And it will count toward your ladder standings. Just make sure each member is in agreement as to which game is being played and then be sure to report the loss properly. You can challenge the same league member up to 5 times per day.

PLEASE NOTE

You can check how many ladderbux you have earned by clicking on the Tourney Bux Log under the Tournament Heading. Tourney bux are not real money but you will need them to enter tournaments. If you get enough Ladderbux, they can be used for some cool prizes on the Ladder. If you run out of bux or don’t have enough to enter a tourney use the ATM machine on our page to request more bux. We’ll be happy to give you bux when you need more. We also have many members with premium memberships who are more than generous and able to gift bux as well, please do not be afraid to ask.

Occasionally tournaments do not start on time. We are at the mercy of the game and your host may also be helping other players or getting a new member signed up. Thank you for your patience.

Sometimes mistakes are made especially in a large tournament. Please make sure you report properly and that your Host sees it. Chat moves quickly and it’s hard to catch it the 1st time around. We apologize in advance if this should happen.

If you do not play at least (1) tournament or ladder match per quarter (120 days), the Ladder will automatically purge your account.

Our goal is to make this league enjoyable and fun for everyone. Please feel free to tell us how we can make your playing experience better. We hope you enjoy BallbustersRUs.
